Job summary

Avista in Dublin is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 3 (CNM3) to lead nursing services across Dublin services (D15, D11, D7). The role requires RNID registration, a management qualification, a driving licence, and minimum CNM2 experience in intellectual disability.

Applicants should have strong leadership, English proficiency, and the ability to manage change while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies. Applications close 5 October 2026.

Qualifications

• NMBI RNID registration is required.
• Recognised management qualification (FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent).
• Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.

• Excellent English language proficiency.
• Strong leadership and initiative with change management.
• Proven people management and communication skills.

• NMBI Registration in the RNID division.
• Management Qualification - Possess a Recognised Management Qualification FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent.
• Full Clean Driving licence and access to vehicle.
• Have a minimum of two years’ experience at CNM2 level in the area of intellectual disability.
• Have a detailed knowledge of the HIQA standards / regulations and Health Act 2007 and can maintain the high-level set post initial registration visit by HIQA.
• Have experience working with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies in the co-ordination of services.
• Proficiency in the English language.
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Have experience of working with behaviours of Concern and complex care needs and supporting mentoring staff teams in the delivery of a high quality to the Service Users.
• Be a highly motivated individual who can demonstrate effective leadership and managerial skills, and the capacity to manage change.
• Have proven people management, leadership, communications and interpersonal skills.
