Job summary

Mater Private Network in Cork is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 for the Cardiology Day Ward to cover maternity leave. You will lead nursing teams, coordinate clinical activities and ensure high standards of patient care within a busy ward.

The ideal candidate holds NMBI registration, has leadership and change management experience, and is skilled in interventional cardiology knowledge, with BLS/ACLS. Minimum 3 years in a people-management role and strong decision-making abilities are

Qualifications

• Registration with NMBI or equivalent
• Advanced course in Interventional Cardiology preferable
• Experience and up-to-date knowledge of Cath Lab and Interventional Cardiology
• Detailed knowledge of cardiac procedures, medical conditions and interventions
• Minimum 3 years experience in a people management role
• Management qualification preferable
• Proven leadership and change management skills
• Excellent knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and skills
• Ability to make decisions with excellent organisational skills
• Current BLS and ACLS certificate
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Cardiology Day Ward

Vacancy: Maternity Leave cover

We are currently inviting applications for the position of Clinical Nurse Manager 2 for our Cardiology Day Ward for the purpose of Maternity leave cover.

As a member of the nurse management team the post of CNM2 holds a pivotal role in the coordination and management of activity and resources within the department. As a role model the CNM2 will promote a culture of open communication and best practice in the delivery of nursing care, providing clinical expertise, advice and support within the multi-professional team.

Candidate Requirements include:

• Registration with NMBI, or equivalent body.
