Job summary

Cpl Healthcare in Cork City is seeking an experienced nurse educator for the role of Clinical Nurse Manager 2 – Clinical Facilitator to lead the ICU and CT service and to advance patient care.

You will coach and mentor a multidisciplinary team, oversee clinical governance, and drive service development while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Applicants must be RGNs on live NMBI register with ICU experience; Higher Diploma in ICU desirable; leadership experience essential.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse on the live register with The NMBI.
• Commitment to patient safety & quality.
• Up to date knowledge in ICU nursing.
• Higher Diploma in Intensive Care desirable.
• Experience in a Cardiothoracic setting desirable.
• Management qualification/educational preparation to degree level desirable.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a people management role.
• Proven leadership and change management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and skills.
• Ability to make decisions with excellent organisational skills.
• Vision of development of service.

Cpl Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse educator. The role of Clinical Nurse Manager 2 – Clinical Facilitator is with a renowned private Cork City Hospital.

The Clinical Facilitator will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to lead a team of staff in the implementation and provision of the highest quality patient care in the CT service and Intensive care unit. He/she must demonstrate excellent work practices and acting as a role model use the necessary skills to educate others through coaching, mentoring and clinical expertise.
