Affidea UK & Ireland is seeking a Clinic Manager for our Tallaght clinic. You will oversee diagnostics, ExpressCare and service delivery, ensuring revenue targets and cost efficiency while guiding the clinic’s mission, budget, and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in healthcare or as a Clinic Manager in a similar setting.
• Clinical background as a Clinic Nurse Manager would be beneficial.
• Strong leadership, budget management, and knowledge of Ireland healthcare regulations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and participate in annual operating plans and monthly reports.
• Monitor daily operations and respond to deviations from the plan.
• Supervise financial management including invoicing, reports, data, and cash handling.
• Maintain clinic staff rosters, leaves, and ensure full staffing.
• Monitor clinic performance: patient wait times, outcomes and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Operations Director to execute local operational plans.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Maintain awareness of policies to ensure JCI standard compliance.
• Collaborate with management to drive business development.
• Understand local competitive landscape and communicate trends to management.
• Build relationships with patients, staff and external partners.

The business operates diagnostic imaging and minor injuries centres' around the country, offering a broad range of cutting-edge imaging technology and healthcare services to the public, insurers, employers and other organisations.

Clinic Manager in our Tallaght Clinic

The Clinic Manager will oversee all aspects of the Clinic including diagnostics and ExpressCare, ensuring efficient service delivery that meets revenue targets and cost efficiency goals. The Clinic Manager will play a key role in defining the clinic’s mission, goals, budget, and performance standards, and effectively communicating these to the staff. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization, taking initiative and exercising independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

• Prepare and participate in the preparation of annual operating plans and monthly reports.
• Monitor daily operations and respond promptly to any deviations from the plan.
• Supervise financial management, including invoicing, information preparation, existing reports, data, and cash handling. Control and authorize operating costs in line with the budget.

Operational Activities

• Maintain clinical and administrative staff rosters, annual leave, sick leave, and resourcing to ensure the clinic is fully staffed at all times.
• Monitor clinic performance, including patient wait times, treatment outcomes and overall patient satisfaction
• Collaborate with the Operations Director to prepare and execute local operational plans.

Quality Assurance

• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
• Maintain JCI standards by ensuring staff awareness of company policies.

Business Development

• Collaborate with the management team to facilitate business development activities.
• Understand the local competitive landscape and relay new developments or trends to the management team.
• Build strong relationships with patients, staff, and external partners to promote the clinic’s services.

Human Resources

• Complete annual performance evaluations for all staff.
• Maintain effective working relationships.
• Plan and execute an effective communication model, including staff meetings, individual meetings, and feedback sessions to ensure communication flows freely between senior management and front-line staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in healthcare or previous experience as a Clinic Manager in a similar setting
• Clinical background as a Clinic Nurse Manager would be beneficial
• Strong leadership skills, budget management experience, and knowledge of healthcare regulations in Ireland.
