Job summary

The Client-Side Project Manager / Employer’s Representative will oversee a portfolio of high-profile civil infrastructure and community projects across Ireland, working from multiple site locations in Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, and Tipperary. The role demands strong leadership, on-site management, and robust contract administration under Public Works frameworks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3rd level qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• Chartered status (or working toward chartership) is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 7 years of project management/construction experience, preferably civil/structural.
• Direct experience with CWMF Public Works Contracts or similar forms.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and people management capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with proficiency in standard PM software.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Client-Side Project Manager and Employer’s Representative across a regional portfolio of civil infrastructure and community projects.
• Manage all phases of project delivery, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality.
• Administer contracts using the CWMF Public Works Contract (or equivalent).
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, contractors, and regional stakeholders across multiple sites.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, control costs, and oversee on-site technical compliance.
• Maintain proactive communication with local authorities, community groups, and executives.
