Major Irish Engineering & Infrastructure Contractor in Co Meath is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a major energy and civil infrastructure project. You will lead site teams, manage cost, schedule and safety, and ensure contractual obligations are met.

You will report to the Contracts Manager or Project Director, coordinating with commercial and engineering teams to drive programme delivery, manage stakeholders, and maintain quality across all project phases.

Formación

• Must have proven experience delivering major civil engineering, utilities or energy infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing complex site-based construction projects in Ireland.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, particularly Public Works Contracts.
• Experience leading site teams, subcontractors, budgets and programmes.
• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a relevant trade qualification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Take overall responsibility for project delivery from commencement through to completion and handover.
• Manage Site Managers, Site Engineers, Section Managers and subcontractors to ensure efficient site operations.
• Develop, review and manage construction programmes, ensuring key milestones are achieved.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, ensuring risk assessments and safe systems of work are implemented.
• Oversee project budgets, cost control, forecasting and commercial performance alongside the commercial team.
• Manage subcontractor performance, procurement requirements and resource allocation.
• Identify programme risks, technical issues and potential delays, implementing corrective measures where required.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, contract requirements and quality standards.
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Provide regular progress reports and commercial updates to senior management.
• Coordinate engineering, site management and commercial teams to maintain programme delivery.
• Ensure all project documentation, reporting and contractual obligations are properly managed.
