Roughan O'Donovan is seeking an experienced Clerk of Works for an approximate 18-month contract in the north Cork area. You will join the site supervision team delivering bridge construction and local road diversion projects, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, health and safety requirements, quality standards and environmental regulations in a live railway environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in implementing procedures and systems for quality control on site and accurate record-keeping.
• Ability to write clear and concise reports, keep works records and read specifications and drawings.
• Proficiency in IT, particularly in relation to document handling and the production of reports.

Responsabilités

• Assist the project resident engineer in the performance of duties.
• Monitor the execution of the works in accordance with contract requirements.
• Carry out daily site inspections of workmanship, witness testing and record daily site activities.
• Raise non-conformance reports.
• Highlight design issues and liaise with the design team on any design-related matters.
