Louth Co in Ireland is seeking an experienced on-site supervisor to oversee the construction and refurbishment of public infrastructure projects, ensuring work is delivered on budget and on time.

You will work under the Employer’s representative, manage on-site safety, quality, and compliance with drawings and specifications, and coordinate with contractors and suppliers.

This role requires strong technical capability, thorough site records, and a proactive approach to resolving site issues.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise construction and refurbishment of public infrastructure projects.
• Report to Employer’s representative for major projects as required.
• Compile and maintain records, submit reports, and furnish data for final costing.
• Ensure compliance with contract drawings and specifications.
• Carry out public procurement of goods, services and works.
• Conduct inspections and surveys, keep detailed records, and prepare reports.
• Monitor on-site construction, materials quality, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders on site.

Duties

• Supervising the construction and refurbishment of public infrastructure projects and of the other works required to deliver projects on budget and on time
• Report to and take direction from the relevant Employer’s representative for the duration of major infrastructure projects
• Compile and keep such records as may be necessary in relation to works including the submission of reports as required and furnishing data for final costing
• Ensure compliance with contract drawings and specification
• Carry out public procurement of goods, services and works
• Carry out inspections, surveys, keep detailed records and prepare relevant reports
• Have strong relevant technical capability
• Deal with the public, customers and contractors etc.
• Take measurements and samples on site to make sure that the work and the materials meet the specifications and quality standards
• Supervise contractors to ensure that all works are carried out as per specification and in compliance with requirements
• Monitor of on-site construction, photographic recording, materials quality and standard; building materials testing and certificate verification and attend site and carry out inspections as required
• Validation of “As Built” records and safety files where applicable
• Have a good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and requirements
• Comply with the Health & Safety Management System and assist in its ongoing development
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations and awareness of on-site safety and participation at and reporting to site meetings.
