Job summary

Fmi is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the premises during evenings. The role is 20 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM) and involves routine cleaning duties to ensure high standards of cleanliness.

Applicants should have prior cleaning experience in commercial or office settings, demonstrate reliability, and be capable of working independently with attention to detail. COSHH knowledge and basic English for instructions are desirable.

Qualifications

• Essential: Previous cleaning experience in commercial, office, or public buildings.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, and sanitize surfaces including desks, counters, and communal touchpoints.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout designated areas.
• Empty bins and replace liners.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and washroom areas.
• Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels.
• Clean kitchenettes and staff break areas.
• Follow specific cleaning schedules for deeper cleaning tasks (e.g., windows, skirting boards).
• Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor or site manager.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and site-specific requirements.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM (4 hours per day) Total Hours: 20 hours per week

Job Purpose

Additional Information
