Job summary

FMI - Field Management is seeking a part-time cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the premises. The role is scheduled Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, totaling 20 hours per week and requires the ability to work independently after hours.

Responsibilities include cleaning surfaces, floors, washrooms, and shared areas, replenishing supplies, and reporting issues to the site manager. Prior cleaning experience in commercial or office settings is essential.

Your mission

Working Hours:

Job Purpose:

To maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the premises by carrying out a range of routine and ad hoc cleaning duties. This position is critical to ensuring the premises are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness each evening.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, dust, and sanitize surfaces including desks, counters, and communal touchpoints.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout designated areas.
• Empty bins and replace liners.
• Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and washroom areas.
• Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels.
• Clean kitchenettes and staff break areas.
• Follow specific cleaning schedules for deeper cleaning tasks (e.g., windows, skirting boards).
• Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor or site manager.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and site-specific requirements.

Your profile

Person Specification:
Essential:

• Previous cleaning experience in commercial, office, or public buildings.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
