Job summary

Dorset College is seeking a Part-Time Cleaning Operative to join our team in Dublin. The successful candidate will receive full training, guidance and ongoing support to ensure confidence and success in the role.

Pay is €14.15 per hour with expected hours of 20.0 per week. The position is in person with on-site parking and requires eligibility to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Must be well presented, trustworthy and reliable.
• Able to work as part of a team and independently.
• Strong time-management and prioritisation skills.
• Demonstrates initiative with minimal supervision.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar cleaning role.
• Fluent in spoken English.
• Eligible to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties according to Employer routines and standards.
• Clean and maintain premises within 5km of Dorset Street, Dublin 1.
• Respond to cleaning and related duties as required.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
• Take on additional reasonable duties as directed by the Employer.

Part-Time Cleaning Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Cleaning Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will receive full training, guidance and ongoing support to ensure they are confident and successful in the role.

Main Duties

The following outlines the principal duties and responsibilities of the role. This list is not exhaustive:

• Carry out all cleaning duties in accordance with the cleaning routines and standards prescribed by the Employer.
• Perform general cleaning, hygiene, environmental control and related duties at premises utilised by the Employer in the course of its business at Dublin 1 (within a 5km radius of 66 Dorset Street).
• Respond to cleaning, clearing and other related requirements arising from incidents, spillages or other needs identified by the Employer.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation at all times.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties within the scope and competence of the role, as assigned by the Employer.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will:

• Be well presented, trustworthy, reliable and punctual.
• Have a positive attitude and be willing to work as part of a team.
• Have excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar cleaning role.
