Job summary

Samsic Facility Ireland in Ireland is seeking a Cleaning Operative to join a permanent team. You will perform cleaning tasks across client sites, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and waste disposal, with a morning schedule of 7:00am to 9:00am, Monday to Friday.

The role requires reliability, ability to work independently or with others, and good English. Eligibility to work in Ireland is essential, with prior cleaning experience advantageous.

• General sweeping, scrubbing and mopping.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces if required.
• Empty bins and dispose of rubbish.
• Undertake tasks as directed by Area Manager.
• Comply with health & safety requirements on client sites and company premises.
• Handle client property with care.

Job Title: Cleaning Operative

Reports to: Area Manager

Rate: €14.80 per hour

Location: Kildare Village, Co. Kildare

Job Type: Permanent position

Working Hours: 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 9:00am.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, wiping surfaces, and ensuring all areas are clean and tidy (including toilets).
• Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces if required.
• Empty bins and dispose of rubbish.
• Undertake tasks as instructed by the Area Manager.
• Comply with Health & Safety requirements on client sites and company premises.
• Handle client property with care.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is an advantage but not essential.
• English language skills: able to speak, understand, and write in English.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to complete tasks on time.
