Job summary

Manpower Ireland Navan is seeking a professional and reliable Class 2 Driver to join its growing distribution team. You will deliver customer orders on schedule, load and check stock, and maintain accurate delivery records while upholding safety and compliance.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday with a base salary of €41,184 per year, plus a performance bonus up to €125 per week and a daily subsistence allowance of €19.25 for eligible drivers, offering long-term career opportunities

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence and CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card and safe driving record.
• Strong customer service focus and compliance with transport rules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders on schedule according to routes.
• Load, check and manage stock to ensure accuracy.
• Collect and reconcile payments when required.
• Complete delivery, fuel, vehicle and cash documentation.
• Obtain proof of delivery and maintain records.
• Communicate issues to transport and sales teams promptly.
• Keep vehicles clean, safe and roadworthy.
• Report accidents or incidents immediately.
• Ensure tachograph compliance and driver card requirements.
• Manage returns and product collections as needed.
• Occasional overnight stays may be required.

An established and growing distribution business is seeking a professional and reliable Class 2 Driver to join its team based out of Navan. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified driver who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring safe, efficient and compliant transport operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders accurately and on schedule according to daily routes.
• Load, check and manage stock to ensure delivery accuracy.
• Collect and reconcile payments where required in line with company procedures.
• Complete all delivery, fuel, vehicle and cash documentation accurately.
• Obtain proof of delivery and maintain delivery records.
• Communicate delivery issues promptly to the transport and sales teams.
• Maintain vehicles in a clean, safe and roadworthy condition.
• Report accidents, damage, incidents and near misses immediately.
• Ensure compliance with tachograph regulations and driver card requirements.
• Manage returns and product collections in line with operational procedures.
• Participate in occasional overnight stays as required.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence.
• Current CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong commitment to road safety and compliance.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Multi-drop delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to undertake manual handling duties.
