Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver based in Rathcoole, Ireland. You will drive between depots and customer sites across Ireland, the UK and Europe, delivering chilled and ambient goods on time and in good condition.

Role requires a full, clean HGV Class 1 licence with CPC and tachograph card, plus strong English communication. Safety-minded, independent, and able to work as part of a supportive transport team.

Qualifications

• Full, clean HGV Class 1 licence with valid CPC and tachograph card.
• Good English skills; professional and friendly customer-facing attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGVs between depots and customer sites across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
• Deliver chilled and ambient products on time and in good condition.
• Complete delivery notes and ensure paperwork is accurate.
• Secure loads and perform basic vehicle safety checks.
• Adhere to driver hours and WTD regulations; assist with loading/unloading as required.
