Job summary

DFDS Ireland in Rathcoole is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our transport team. You will drive between depots, delivering chilled and ambient goods on days and ensure on-time, safe deliveries.

You must hold a full HGV Class 1 licence with CPC and tachograph card, have good English, and work reliably both independently and as part of a friendly team.

Qualifications

• Full, clean HGV Class 1 licence with CPC and tachograph card.
• Excellent English communication for a customer-facing role.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Driving HGVs between depots and customer sites.
• Delivering chilled and ambient products safely and on time.
• Completing delivery notes and ensuring paperwork is accurate.
• Securing loads properly and carrying out basic vehicle safety checks.
• Following road transport regulations, including driver hours and WTD.
• Assisting with loading/unloading and ensuring loads are evenly distributed.
