Job summary

Leeson Group is seeking an experienced Product Owner / Business Analyst to join our product team. This role focuses on owning and prioritising the roadmap for our Claims Management Platform, translating operational processes into clear requirements for the delivery team.

You will partner with the Head of Product, manage priorities, and ensure the right solutions are delivered. Experience in insurance or enterprise software is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Ireland.
• Five years’ experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar product/delivery role.
• Strong experience in Agile delivery environments (Scrum or similar).
• Proven experience managing a backlog of requirements using epics, features, user stories or equivalent methods.
• Extensive experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria or functional/configuration specifications.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the functional areas of the Claims Management Platform, including backlog/configuration roadmap and daily priority decisions.
• Work with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements, challenge where appropriate, and define business priorities.
• Write and refine clear requirements as epics, user stories and acceptance criteria, or as functional/configuration specifications.
• Own day-to-day prioritisation for your areas and contribute to roadmap and release planning with Head of Product.
• Act as the primary link between the business and the team delivering the platform.
• Lead delivery rituals such as sprint planning, backlog refinement and other Agile ceremonies as needed.
• Monitor delivery progress, communicate risks and issues, and help remove impediments.
• Champion simple, intuitive solutions that improve user experience.
• Collaborate with operations, business development and customer support to ensure platform meets business needs.
