Job summary

KTL is seeking a Civils Site Supervisor to manage civil projects from site level, delivering Right First Time, to H&S standards and within budget.

The role requires a Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, 3–5 years’ experience, and strong communication, with proficiency in MS Office and MS Project. You will supervise subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and drive project targets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar civil role.
• Excellent oral and written communications.
• Strong organisational ability.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Supervise sub-contractors and KTL crews assigned to projects.
• Ensure projects/site are completed safely, on time, to client quality standards and within budget.
• Utilise industry experience to source relevant sub-contractors ensuring competitiveness.
• Establish and maintain quality standards and project methodology across projects and ensure they are communicated and implemented to all project teams.
• Implementation and maintenance of relevant approved processes, procedures, health and safety and technical standards.
• Undertake actions to facilitate delivery of project targets in terms of time, cost and quality.
• Be familiar with client specifications and ensure teams deliver on technical requirements at handover.

Job Scope

The Civils Site Supervisor shall be required to manage civils projects from a site level on behalf of KTL. This includes the completion of particular projects delivered Right First Time, to H&S standards and within budget.

Needs to Have

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• At least three to five years’ experience in a similar role with a proven understanding of the civil engineering works
• Strong understanding of project methodology and experience in delivering projects Excellent oral and written communications
• User of MS Office package
• Strong organisational ability with experience in MS Project or similar project tools.

• Be fully familiar with client specifications and ensure all project teams are aware of and deliver on technical requirements at operational handover stage.
