Arcadis is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to join the Cork-based team, focusing on civil design, drainage and underground services for pharmaceutical and industrial clients. The role involves delivering designs from concept through construction in a multidisciplinary setting, ensuring quality and compliance.

The successful candidate will typically have 5+ years post-graduate experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and ideally Chartered Engineer status.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years post-graduate design experience.
• Experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, life sciences or regulated sectors preferred.
• A third-level qualification in Civil Engineering or Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status or professional body membership preferred, ideally MIEI.

Aufgaben

• Interface with client design teams, authorities, utility providers and project stakeholders.
• Deliver civil engineering design scope within budget and programme.
• Prepare calculations, drainage impact assessments, reports and design documentation.
• Design drainage systems and underground utilities, including SuDS and pumped systems.
• Coordinate with architects, structural and other disciplines.
• Lead technical reviews and compliance checks.
• Attend design, client and site meetings.
• Support site visits during construction.
• Promote Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.
