Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Lead Structural Civil Engineer to provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate design across project teams. The role requires strong understanding of the project lifecycle, communication with project managers, BIM teams, and clients, and delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• A Third Level Degree in an associated discipline.
• 5-8 years' experience as a Senior Engineer / Architect in semiconductor, advanced process manufacturing or construction.
• Experience in managing / mentoring team members.
• Able to guide junior team members while working as part of a team.
• Strong personal initiative with communication and organisational skills.
• Adaptable to evolving project/client needs.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise.
• IT skills with proficiency in software packages.
• Attention to detail and client service focus.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Commitment to CPD and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead CSA engineering design for semiconductor/microelectronics tool installation projects.
• Provide feedback on resourcing, deliverables, and project constraints.
• Manage resources on your deliverables and assist where needed.
• Participate in proposals and client presentations.
• Build strong client relationships based on trust.
• Ensure Design Safety Procedures and Health & Safety regulations are followed.
• Mentor and support team members.
• Foster interdisciplinary teamwork and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
