Job summary

GMC Utilities Group in Ireland is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join our team. The role covers delivery of projects from construction perspective, ensuring timelines and budgets are met with a strong emphasis on health and safety and quality control.

The Site Agent will supervise multiple teams, review designs, and coordinate with clients and authorities to maintain progress and compliance. A relevant qualification and civil works experience are preferred, with readiness to mentor junior

Qualifications

• Full clean driver’s license essential.
• A qualification in engineering or equivalent is desirable.
• Civils and experience working on Road projects.
• Previous experience and the ability to read designs.
• Commercial awareness of project costs.
• Experience with site activities and multiple teams.
• Good knowledge of HSQE requirements.
• Good knowledge of ground support systems.
• Computer literate.
• Confident, motivated and can work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Run multiple projects within urban and rural environments.
• Liaise with Clients and Client Representatives to deliver projects.
• Review drawings in detail and amend designs from feedback.
• Create leadership within the project site team.
• Coordinate with Contracts Manager and Site Agents on resources.
