Job summary

Cpl Group in Ireland is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Site Agent to lead a civil engineering project team, delivering infrastructure works safely, on time, and within budget.

You will coordinate with the Operations Manager, supervise engineers, foremen and subcontractors, review drawings and specs, set out when required, and ensure RAMS and TMPs compliance with local authority standards. This role offers development and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience managing site operations on civil infrastructure projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation in construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily site operations to ensure safety, efficiency and quality.
• Lead and supervise site teams, engineers, foremen and subcontractors.
• Plan, programme and monitor activities to meet milestones and deadlines.
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
• Carry out and oversee setting out activities where required.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, industry standards and client requirements incl. RAMS and TMPs.
• Maintain site records such as daily diaries and progress reports.
• Manage site resources (labour, materials, plant, equipment) to maximise productivity.
• Oversee traffic management requirements and TMP compliance.
• Identify risks, delays and commercial variations; liaise with clients and stakeholders.
