Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our expanding team in Ireland. You will support, manage and coordinate civil works from tender through to project delivery and post-construction, gaining exposure to power and renewables across the project lifecycle.

Reporting to senior engineers, you will interface with electrical and civil teams, clients and subcontractors, and contribute to value-for-money designs while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification (HND or higher) in Civil Engineering or similar degree.
• Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience.
• Flexible-working with a minimum commitment of 3 days in the office per week is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to undertake site visits across Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documentation and prepare preliminary civil designs to support pricing.
• Coordinate with Civil Designers, Contractors and Estimators to align scope and requirements.
• Provide ongoing civil engineering support during construction and review As-built information.
• Ensure designs meet specifications, works information and client requirements.
