Kirby Group Engineering is seeking an Electrical Quantity Surveyor with substation experience to support the commercial delivery of high voltage electrical projects. The role involves managing contracts, budgets, and liaising with subcontractors to ensure efficient execution of projects.

The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying, with a background in electrical engineering being advantageous. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Excel are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying ideally coupled with a technical background.
• Proficient in Excel for budget and valuation tasks.
• Knowledge of contract conditions and their applications.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial delivery of high voltage electrical projects.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, interim valuations, and final accounts.
• Identify commercial risks and report to Senior Management.
• Maintain accurate records for commercial tracking and costing.
