Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer in Dublin to support a growing pre-construction team. You will review and optimise civil/structural designs for buildability, cost-effectiveness and construction suitability, collaborating with design consultants, project management, and subcontractors on major data centre and mission-critical projects.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering or similar with master's degree or equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in civil/structural engineering in construction or engineering.
Strong knowledge of civil/structural design including drainage and utilities.
Tender support and pre-construction delivery experience.

Responsibilities

Review civil and structural designs for compliance, buildability and project alignment.
Identify opportunities to optimise designs to reduce costs via value engineering.
Evaluate construction methods and develop practical strategies.
Review drainage, water and power infrastructure and utilities.
Coordinate with design consultants, PMs, construction teams and subcontractors to resolve issues.
