DesignBuild Search are working closely with one of Dublin leading Engineering consultancies to recruit a Senior Civil Design Engineer. The successful candidate will join a strong team in the Building & Infrastructure Division with projects for private and public sector clients.

The role requires a Level 8 Civil Engineering qualification and 5+ years of relevant experience on residential and building projects, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Bentley MicroStation, and related

Qualificações

• Minimum Level 8 qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience for the Design Civil Engineer role.
• 5+ years of experience on residential projects.
• 5+ years of experience for Senior/Lead Engineer role.
• Design experience on building projects (residential, mixed-use developments, industrial and commercial) in public & private sectors.

Responsabilidades

• Preparation of contract specifications and drawings.
• Surveying and site inspections.
• Preparation and review of preliminary designs and reports using computer packages and subsequent preparation of detailed design drawings and specifications.
• Contribute to the project team on a day-to-day basis.
• Direct communication and meetings with Clients.
• Implementing the company’s ISO policies and procedures.

The successful candidates will join a strong team of professionals in the Building & Infrastructure Division who cover a broad range of engineering and building projects for both private and public sector clients.

Key Requirements

• Minimum Level 8 qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 5 years of relevant work experience for the Design Civil Engineer role
• A minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience on residential projects
• 5+ years of experience for the Senior/LeadEngineer role
• Design Experience on building projects (residential, mixed-use developments, industrial and commercial) in the public & private sector
• Ability to achieve tight deadlines working as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Rev Revit, Bentley MicroStation & Rebar; Caddie & Utility programs for Drainage and HECRAS and Solidworks
• Excellent verbal and written (English) communication skills
