Job summary

Allsite Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Design Engineer to support the design process from tender stage through to construction on civil and utilities projects in Ireland. The role requires coordinating design inputs, managing consultant deliverables, and liaising with clients across project phases.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in design coordination or civil engineering, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in design coordination or civil engineering.
• Familiarity with utility infrastructure projects.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review RFP documentation and coordinate pricing from consultants and subcontractors.
• Develop design proposals, programmes, and methodologies for submission.
• Organise and manage site surveys and design deliverables during project mobilisation.
• Liaise with internal teams and designers to ensure timely progress and constructability input.
• Support planning, permitting, and CPO processes as needed.
• Manage and submit design change orders and progress updates.
• Present developed designs at key milestones and finalise documentation for construction.
• Provide ongoing design coordination and support during the construction phase
