Job summary

Avista is recruiting a Social Care Worker for CRS, Dublin Services. The role supports children and adults with intellectual disabilities in a community-based, rights-based setting. The job requires CORU registration, a QQI Level 7 in Social Care, a clean driving licence, and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 7 (or higher) qualification in Social Care/Applied Social Studies or equivalent. The award must be eligible for CORU registration.
• UP TO DATE CORU REGISTRATION/confirmed registration submitted to CORU.
• Social care experience in disability services.
• Full clean manual Irish driving licence and use of a car.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience with intellectual disability.
• Experience with behaviours of concern.
• Experience with Person Centred planning.
• Awareness of HIQA Standards and regulations.
• Desire to support people to live their best lives.
• Willingness to develop skills in identified areas.
