Job summary

Avista is recruiting a Social Care Worker for the Community Residential Service in Limerick, Ireland. This relief contract requires a QQI Level 7 or higher in Social Care or equivalent and CORU registration eligibility.

Proficiency in English and a full Irish driving licence are essential, with experience in intellectual disability care and person-centred planning. The role offers a chance to work within a supportive, rights-based organization focused on quality of life and community

Qualifications

• QQI Level 7 (or higher) qualification in Social Care/Applied Social Studies or equivalent.
• The award must be considered eligible for CORU registration.
• Proficiency in English.
• Full clean Irish driving licence for manual vehicles.
• Experience working with people with Intellectual Disabilities.
• Experience with behaviours of concern.
• Experience with Person Centred planning.
• Awareness of HIQA Standards and regulations.
