Job summary

Camphill Communities of Ireland in Dunshane, Co. Kildare, invites applications for a Social Care Worker. You will join a committed team delivering person-centred residential and day services to people with disabilities.

The role is permanent, full-time (40 hours per week). A Level 7 QQI in Social Care Studies or equivalent, CORU registration or progression, and at least one year of relevant experience are required. A full driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Level 7 QQI qualification (BA in Social Care Studies) or equivalent.
• CORU registration or application in progress.
• At least 1 year experience with vulnerable adults or those with intellectual disabilities.
• Understanding of current national and sectoral policy in Social Care within disability services.
• Ability to follow and contribute to care plans and methods to meet ongoing needs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills: Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• Full driving licence and access to own car.
