Job summary

Acuity Inc. is building a modern CIAM platform to support its growing digital products across Acuity Commerce and other units.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and operate cloud-native identity services powering authentication, authorization, onboarding, and secure access. You will collaborate with Platform Engineering, Security, Product, and Architecture teams to deliver scalable solutions and maintain a shared CIAM platform used across Acuity businesses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience developing full-stack applications in cloud-native environments.
• Strong experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js or Vue.js.
• Strong backend development experience using Node.js, Python.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with microservices and distributed architectures.
• Hands-on experience integrating with identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID / External ID, Okta, Auth0, Ping Identity.
• Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, JWT Tokens.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate cloud-native identity services.
• Build identity experiences including authentication, MFA, and profile management.
• Develop secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Create responsive, accessible frontend interfaces.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams.
