Johnson Controls Ireland HVAC is seeking a Chiller Service Engineer to provide commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial water/air‑cooled chillers and heat pumps. You will be the primary technical contact for complex issues, working mainly with large customers in Leinster, especially pharma, life science and high‑tech sectors.
A Refrigeration F‑GAS 2079 certificate is required; ammonia experience is advantageous; a full clean Irish driving licence is essential.
You will provide up-to-date site surveys, records, and reports regarding works completed and actions needed to aid quoting of new or replacement equipment. Your main role is to carry commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial water/air‑cooled chillers and heat pumps.
As a Chiller Service Engineer, you are the primary contact for all technical service issues, accountable for resolving highly complex systems within a set timeframe and according to a defined process, service agreement and customer needs. You will be working mainly with the company’s largest customers in the Leinster area, predominantly within the foreign direct investment sector of pharmaceutical, life science and high‑tech clients. Health and safety will be at the forefront of everything you do. Although often working without accompaniment you will be part of a team and contribute towards its success.
