Job summary

Connexus Recruit is seeking a compassionate, highly organised Children’s Experience Coordinator for a well-known Irish children’s charity in Ireland. You will help create unforgettable experiences for children living with critical illnesses and support their families throughout every step of the journey.

This is a role that values relationship-building, project coordination and delivering life-changing experiences.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a coordination, events, charity, community, hospitality, healthcare or family support role.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities at once.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Naturally empathetic with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
  • A proactive, positive approach and the confidence to work on your own initiative.
  • Full clean driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the full journey of each child's experience from planning through to delivery.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for families, providing support and guidance throughout.
  • Coordinating with volunteers, suppliers, venues and medical professionals.
  • Managing budgets and securing donated products or services where possible.
  • Keeping accurate records and ensuring every experience is delivered to the highest standard.
  • Working closely with the wider team to deliver memorable, life-changing experiences.
