Job summary

CoAction West Cork is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Children’s Services and Home Support team in West Cork. You will provide community nursing care to children, act as a keyworker within the West Cork Child Development Service, and support families in the home setting.

The role is permanent with weekend allowances (10 weekends per year at 7.5 hours per week), requires current nursing registration and a full driving licence, and offers night shifts and premium weekend rates where

Qualifications

• Must be registered in the relevant Division of the Register of Nurses (An Bord Altranais).
• Full driving licence required; willingness to travel to client homes.
• Experience in pediatric/nursing care for children with complex needs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care within the Community and Home Support settings.
• Act as keyworker within the West Cork Child Development Service.
• Maintain accurate nursing records and adhere to safety and confidentiality policies.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to facilitate discharge planning and continuity of care.
