Job summary

CoAction West Cork is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver nursing services to children and adults in their community across West Cork. The post supports the West Cork Child Development Service and acts as a keyworker for clients receiving CoAction services.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, commuting to clients’ homes to provide professional nursing support while adhering to best practice and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Be registered with An Bord Altrnais or eligible to register.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Experience in community/domiciliary nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the designated geographical areas.
• Act as keyworker for individuals in WCCDS/CoAction services.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate person-centred care.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team for service delivery.
• Complete accurate nursing records and reports.
• Attend to home-based nursing in the community.
