Job summary

Clarity Recruitment seeks a Paediatric Community Nurse to deliver specialist nursing care in the Dublin West area. The role focuses on providing in-home paediatric care and collaborating with families and the clinical team.

The ideal candidate will be RGN/RCN, NMBI registered, with a full driving license and car. Previous home care experience is advantageous, enabling effective multidisciplinary partnership and patient-centred outcomes.

Qualifications

• RGN/RCN qualified
• NMBI registered
• Must have a full driver's license and car
• Previous experience in home care is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to a child
• Gastrostomy tube feeds via feeding pump
• Tracheostomy care and suctioning
• Nebs and suctioning management
• Monitor signs of respiratory distress
• Pressure area care and rotation
• Medication management
• Seizure management
• Care of child with a disability
• Manage enteral feeding and medication
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide play and family support
• Communicate with client, family and MDT
• Maintain accurate clinical notes
