Job summary

Respond is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead daily operations across its housing, development and community services, with direct reporting to the CEO. The role requires strong strategic leadership to align operations across multiple locations in Ireland and to drive performance, governance and value for money.

• Senior leadership across multiple functions within a medium to large organisation.
• Experience leading organisational change and transformation.
• Strong project/programme management experience overseeing complex programmes.
• Ability to translate strategy into clear operational priorities and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational performance across housing, development and community services.
• Drive organisational transformation, service integration and continuous improvement.
• Review structures, budgets and resources to improve efficiency and value for money.
• Champion the use of technology, data and analytics in operations.
• Ensure governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Build high-performing leadership teams and strengthen capability.
• Collaborate with CEO, Board and executives on strategic priorities.
• Develop relationships with Government, Local Authorities, regulators and funders.
