Job summary

Vantive, a vital organ therapy company, is expanding its QA Chemistry team to ensure compliance with chemistry processes and procedures. The role involves analysing samples from manufacturing stages, applying wet chemistry and instrumental techniques, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of results.

You will develop analytical methods for drug products, liaise with chemists and production, and support quality reviews, batch release, and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Analyse samples from various phases of manufacturing.
• Use analytical techniques and instrumentation (wet chemistry, AAS, AAS, HPLC, UV/IR, etc.).
• Interpret data and document results according to guidelines.
• Report analytical results.
• Develop techniques for drug product analysis.
• Collaborate with chemists and production for compliance and efficiency.
• Be aware of health and safety issues.
• Validate methods and equipment.
• Support Quality Department activities as assigned.
• Assist with Quality Reviews and Annual Product Quality Reviews.
• Identify improvement opportunities and promote data/reporting for process optimization.
• Support batch release processes.
• Assist QA in inspections preparation and execution.
• Support new product introductions from a QA perspective.

Working within the QA Chemistry team to ensure compliance to Chemistry processes and procedures and is responsible for, but not limited to.

• Analyse samples from various phases of the manufacturing process
• Use analytical techniques and instrumentation, such as wet chemistry, Atomic absorption sprectrometry, atomic emission spectrometry, autotitrators, TOC, Infra-red spectrometry, potentiometry, ultraviolet spectrometry, gas and high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) among others.
• Interpret data and meet strict guidelines on documentation when recording data
• Report analytical results
• Develop techniques for the analysis of drug products and chemicals
• Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Liaise with chemists and production personnel to ensure compliance and efficiencies are met.
• Be aware of, and keep up to date with, health and safety issues
• Validate methods and equipment.
• Support other activities within the Quality department as assigned by the Quality Manager.
• Support the generation and approval of Quality Reviews and Annual Product Quality Reviews
• Identify continuous improvement and collaboration opportunities, promoting development and implementation of quality data and reports for improvement and optimization of business processes / results.
• Support the batch release process
• Support the QA dept in the preparation for and during inspections.
• Support new product introductions from a QA perspective.
