Job summary

Vantive in Ireland is seeking a Business Process Optimisation Specialist to lead day-to-day operations improvement across value streams, focusing on safety, quality, delivery and cost using Lean tools and the Vantive Operating System.

You will collaborate with Value Stream Managers and Supervisors to drive continuous improvement, lead small projects, and support 6S, Kaizen and Standardized Work initiatives to foster GMP-compliant, safety-minded performance.

Responsibilities

• Production support and process improvement.

• Lead small projects and support larger projects in Value Streams.
• Deploy the Vantive Operating System and act as change champion within the Value Streams.
• Support 6S, Kaizens, iCare and Standardized Work initiatives.

Working withinthe Vantive Value Streams,you willplay a lead role in bringing success tothearea’sday-to-dayoperations and its’continuous improvement journey. This is a broad role which will see involvement in actions which will ensure theachievement of the area’s Key PerformanceIndicators in Safety, Quality,Deliveryand Cost.

You shouldpossessbusiness acumen, understanding how eachcomponentof your work is linked to the overall siteobjectives,with an understanding of how Lean tools and processes help to improve business results,as well as an appreciation of the importance of people and behaviors inachieving and sustainingsuccess.

You will developproficiencyin Lean Manufacturing Methodologies and theVantiveOperating System to thepoint at which you can leadimplementation ofthese programs inValueStreams.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Production Support and Process improvement.
• Working with Value Stream Managers and Supervisors to complete the tasksrequiredtoexceedormeetthe daily,weeklyand monthly Key PerformanceIndicators (KPIs)of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
• Supportingnew product development and implementation in the area.
• Assistinginmaintainingasafetyorientated cultureandGMP compliant work environment.
• Workingas part of the Value Stream toidentify, drive and implement processes and safety improvements.
• Supporting the deployment of all the company’s continuous improvement initiatives in the area.
• Completingchange controls, document updates, riskassessmentsand various other aspects of implementing improvements.
• Leadingsmall projects andsupportinglarger projects in the ValueStreamsasnecessary.
• LeadingA3teamsin areas such as OEE, Wasteand other improvementinitiatives.
• Gather and analyze data to helpidentifythe root cause and corrective actions needed for improvement. Track and trend metrics within the department.
• Usingproblem-solving tools and lean methodologies in delivering day-to-day improvements.
• Supportingthe deployment of theVantiveOperating Systemby being the change championand deploymentcoordinatorwithin the Value Streams
• Support the value streamson various programs such 6S, Kaizens,iCareand Standardized Work.

Experience required:

• Candidatesshouldbe able todemonstratea flexible and innovative approach to manufacturing methods and work practices.
• Candidates shouldpossessexcellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to think analytically and innovate to achieve goals.
• Change and continuousimprovementacumen.
• Energy and enthusiasm to drive and support change and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work with colleagues at all levelswith excellent communication skills.
