Job summary

The Q Café Company in Kilkenny is recruiting enthusiastic Chefs of all grades for our healthcare units, five over seven days, daytime hours only. Location: Kilkenny, Co. Kilkenny, Ireland.

You will cook to high standards, supervise kitchen staff, manage budgets, and contribute to menu cycles while adhering to HACCP and health and safety rules. Own transport required; meals on duty and free parking provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef in hospitality or healthcare setting.
• Ability to work five over seven days with daytime hours.

Responsibilities

• To prepare and cook food to the highest standard.
• To supervise and direct kitchen and service staff as required.
• To work and order products within agreed budgets as set out by the company.
• To compile menu cycles on a monthly basis.
• To operate the HACCP and Health and Safety procedures in line with legal requirements.
• Support for Holiday and Cover for Dublin Units.
• Must have own Transport.
