Job summary

TTM Healthcare Solutions is hiring a Chef Grade II to join the catering team at an HSE Care Centre in Athlone, Co. Westmeath. This agency role offers day shifts on an ad hoc basis, providing flexibility while delivering nutritious meals to residents and staff.

Requirements include a Professional Cookery qualification or equivalent, HACCP/Food Safety certification, and Garda Vetting where applicable. Salary is paid hourly with weekly pay and various employee perks.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Chef in healthcare or care centre settings.
• Must have HACCP and Food Safety certifications.
• Right to work in Ireland (EU passport or Stamp 1G family permits).
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting and Garda clearance if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with residents' dietary needs.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and kitchen hygiene.
• Adhere to food safety and infection control guidelines.
• Assist in menu planning, portion control and stock management.
• Work as part of a collaborative catering team to ensure excellent service.

Requirements:

• Professional Cookery qualification (or equivalent)
• HACCP and Food Safety certification
• Previous experience as a Chef in a healthcare or care centre setting
• Right to work in Ireland (EU passport or Stamp 1G, 2, 4, 4D, 5, 4 EUFam)
• International Police Clearance (if applicable)
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting
