Job summary

Brennans Brook Lodge Limited t/a Brooklane Hotel in Ireland is seeking a Chef de Partie to support the head chef and lead kitchen operations. The role focuses on maintaining high culinary standards, menu development, and efficient food service across a 39-hour work week.

Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of relevant experience, strong knife skills, and the ability to communicate in English. Accommodation and meals are offered, with overtime opportunities and long-term prospects.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar chef role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Awareness of culinary trends.
• High quality cooking and knife handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports Head Chef in all areas of kitchen management.
• Ensures kitchen maintains high culinary standards.
• Complies with hygienic requirements and health & safety standards.
• Capable of managing starters and sides if required.
• Plays a role in menu creation and culinary innovation.
• Manages pass and ensures high quality of food service and presentation.
• Supports food supplier engagement, ordering, stock control and rostering.
• Supports training commis chefs where necessary.
