Job summary

Aramark Ireland is recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join our team at a client site near Cork City Centre. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring consistently high standards of food preparation, delivery, and kitchen operations across all areas of the business.

This is a full-time position, and flexibility in working hours is required. Responsibilities include HACCP compliance, menu costing and waste reduction, stock checks, and helping manage the kitchen team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in a professional kitchen
• Experience in industrial, commercial, or contract catering environments
• Knowledge of HACCP procedures and food safety documentation
• Experience supporting menu planning and menu development
• Understanding of food cost control, stock management and waste reduction

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, service and presentation in line with HACCP and legislation.
• Assist with menu planning and costing to achieve budgeted gross profit margins while minimising waste.
• Support ordering of food and kitchen supplies per company procedures and approved suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with policies, food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
• Complete all food safety and quality documentation accurately.
• Support day-to-day management and performance of the kitchen team.
• Check, probe and sign for deliveries, ensuring high-quality produce is accepted.
• Ensure food is attractively presented and served at correct temperatures.
• Participate in stock takes and inventory control procedures.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, customers and management.
• Carry out daily and weekly cleaning duties to the highest standard.
