**Essential** - Relevant culinary qualification or equivalent professional training - Minimum 2–3 years' experience working in a professional kitchen environment - Proven experience working within an industrial, commercial, or contract catering setting - Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP procedures and food safety documentation - Demonstrated leadership experience managing kitchen staff or a section team
**Desirable** - Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment - Knowledge of contemporary culinary trends and innovative cooking techniques - Experience with kitchen management systems or food ordering software - Relevant food safety certifications (e.g., Level 3 Food Safety in Catering)
