The role requires 1-2 years in a professional kitchen, HACCP experience, and the ability to work well solo or with a team. Join us for day-time hours, with opportunity for professional development and staff meals.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a professional kitchen or relevant culinary experience.
• Experience with HACCP documentation and safety standards.
• Ability to plan menus or support menu development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food, dishes and recipes to Avoca standards and quality.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, service and presentation.
• Assist with menu planning and costings to achieve budgeted gross margin.
• Handle food orders with approved suppliers and verify deliveries.
• Lead kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals for clients.
• Ensure accurate temperature recording and stock checks as required.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers across shifts.
