Job summary

Sheridans Cheesemongers Ltd. in Limerick is seeking a friendly Cheesemonger for the counter in Jetland Shopping Centre on a 16-hour-per-week contract. You will chat with customers, taste and showcase artisan cheeses, and learn about Irish and European producers.

No previous cheesemongering experience is required; training is provided, with opportunities for career progression and a staff discount on Sheridans products.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or food experience is helpful but not essential.
• Strong interest in artisan food, cheese, and local producers.
• Friendly, confident communication and listening skills.

Cheesemonger - Limerick (16 Hours per Week)

We're looking for a Cheesemonger to join our Limerick counter in Jetland Shopping Centre on a 16-hour per week contract. No previous cheesemongering experience is needed - just a genuine passion for food, great conversation, and a willingness to learn.

At Sheridans Cheesemongers, we believe selling cheese is about much more than serving at a counter. It's about connecting people with the producers behind the food, sharing stories, recommending pairings, and creating memorable customer experiences.

You'll receive full in-house training, gain hands‑on experience with Irish and European artisan food, and have real opportunities for career progression within the company.

What You'll Be Doing

Pay: 18 years old- €11.40 | 19 years old- €12.80 | 20 years old - €14.25
