Qualifications

Level 8 or Level 9 Degree in Structural Engineering.
10 years' experience as a Structural Engineer in a consultancy.
Design experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel to Eurocodes.
Strong understanding of concrete and steel materials.
Ideally Chartered or near Chartership with Engineers Ireland or IStructe.
Experience preparing and delivering technical reports.
Experience managing structural engineering projects.
Strong communication and team management skills.

Responsibilities

Project Experience: Work across a wide range of structural projects (industrial, commercial, residential).
Team Leadership: Manage Engineers and Designers, overseeing tender and construction packages.
Collaboration & Coordination: Work with multidisciplinary teams on scope, deliverables, timelines and resources.
Project Management: Monitor progress, provide updates and control resources and hours.

Senior Structural Engineer with 10+ years' experience required to join a leading Irish Engineering Consultancy operating across Ireland and Europe. The consultancy has established a strong presence within the structural engineering sector, with an excellent pipeline of projects and plans for continued growth. Responsibilities

Project Experience: Work across a wide range of structural engineering projects, with experience in industrial, commercial and residential.
Team Leadership: Manage a team of Engineers and Designers, overseeing the preparation of structural packages for tender and construction.
Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to understand project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
Project Management: Monitor project progress, provide regular updates, and maintain control of resources and hours allocated to the structural scope.

Requirements

Level 8 or Level 9 Degree in Structural Engineering.
10 years' experience working as a Structural Engineer within a consultancy environment.
Strong experience in the design of reinforced concrete and structural steel to Eurocodes.
Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and materials, including concrete and steel.
Ideally Chartered or close to Chartership with Engineers Ireland or ISTRUCTE
Experience preparing and delivering technical reports.
