Job summary

Arcadis in Ireland is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor, or APC-progressing candidate, to join a growing Technical Due Diligence and Building Surveying team. You will support high-profile property transactions across Ireland and potentially the UK and Europe, delivering TDD, surveys, and advisory services to lenders and investors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Surveying and RICS qualified (or APC progress).
• Excellent technical ability with multi-discipline experience.
• Able to manage project risk and flexible to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of technical, legislative requirements with commercial awareness.
• Strong client relationship management as a trusted adviser.
• Experience with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Deliver TDD advice and reporting across asset types with commercial recommendations.
• Undertake professional technical consultancy including asset surveys and dilapidations.
• Prepare planning apps, Fire Safety Certificates and Disability Access Certificates.
• Manage procurement and delivery: tender documents, contractor appointments, oversee works.
• Act as Assigned Certifier under BC(A)R, ensuring compliance throughout construction.
• Deliver high-quality client experience with timely, clear outputs.
• Communicate effectively across project teams and maintain financial control.
