Job summary

Eurofins Biopharma Product Testing in Dungarvan, Ireland, is seeking an Associate Scientist to perform quality control testing of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with predefined quality and safety standards.

The role involves routine and non-routine analyses, maintaining and completing test records per SOPs, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in molecular cell biology or related scientific discipline.
• At least 2 years experience with Cell Based Potency assays in GMP environment.
• Good understanding of GMP.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analysis with accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete test records on time, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities for quality and service improvement; contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Adhere to GMP guidelines and internal quality standards; ensure all activities are documented and traceable.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis and prepare Exception reports.
• Gain proficiency in assigned tests/areas of testing; maintain training records.
• Provide training to colleagues in techniques/tests where competency is proven.
• Provide cover for colleagues as required.
• Participate in weekend rota, overtime, and On-Call/Call-out schedules.
• Ensure customer requirements are met.

Job Description
