Job summary

Eurofins Biopharma Product Testing in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford is seeking an Associate Scientist to join the biopharma team. The role focuses on quality control testing of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products to ensure safety and compliance with GMP.

You will perform routine and non-routine analyses, document test results, support continuous improvement, and train colleagues as needed. Weekend rota, overtime and on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years GMP experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication skills and client focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analysis with accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete test records on time, ensuring SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities for quality and service improvement; contribute to CI projects.
• Adhere to GMP guidelines and internal quality standards; ensure all activities are documented and traceable.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis and prepare Exception reports.
• Gain proficiency in assigned tests/areas of testing; maintain training records.
• Provide training to colleagues in techniques/tests where competency is proven.
• Provide cover for colleagues as required.
• Participate in weekend rota, overtime, and On-Call/Call-out schedules.
• Ensure customer requirements.

Job Description
