Job summary

Vital Ireland is seeking a dedicated Cleaner (Decontamination) at Aerodrome Business Park, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin. You will unload, decontaminate and clean equipment, test items and arrange repairs as needed, while upholding strict EHS and quality standards.

The role involves shift work and potential cross-functional collaboration. Ideal candidates will have experience in decontamination or similar roles, warehouse operations, and be IT literate with a full driving license.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role, ideally in a service environment.
• Experience in a busy warehouse environment, i.e. goods in, pick, pack and dispatch operations.
• IT literate
• A full, clean driving License

Responsibilities

• Unload, decontaminate and clean equipment. Test and arrange repair as needed.
• Ensure returned equipment is cleaned and tested per procedures and identified for repair or maintenance.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and high techniques within the facility.
• Comply with all operating procedures and regulatory requirements (EHS, quality, customer site).
• Participate in Cross-Functional teams as necessary.
• Attend to Emergency Response/Fire/First Aid teams as required.

Cleaner (Decontamination)

Location: Aerodrome Business Park, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

The cleaner will be responsible for the unloading, decontamination and cleaning of equipment. In addition you will be required to test and, as needed, ensure repair is carried out.

• Ensure returned equipment is cleaned and tested in accordance with procedures and identified for repair or maintenance as appropriate.
• Complete all documentation accurately and ensure tasks are in compliance with appropriate procedures and company and EHS regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that housekeeping standards and excellent techniques are practiced, within the facility at all times, and maintained to a very high standard.
• Carry out all activities in compliance with company, EHS & regulatory, quality and customer site regulations/requirements.
• Participate in Cross-Functional teams, as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all operating procedures
• Participate in Emergency Response/Fire/First Aid teams as necessary.

Qualifications And Experience

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Experience in a similar role, ideally in a service environment
• Experience in a busy warehouse environment, i.e. goods in, pick, pack and dispatch operations.
• IT literate
• A full, clean driving License

Other Information
